The Federal Prison Camp is seeking a Dental Assistant to provide assistant to the Dentist for the dental unit in the Health Services Department. This will consist of approximately 5 sessions per seek with each session approximately 8 hours long. Dental Assistant will provide chair side assistance for the dentist; prepare patients for treatments, maintain instruments, process x-rays, and assist with oral surgery; maintain safety, sanitation, and security of the dental unit; executing of routine policies set forth by the Bureau of Prisons in the Health Services Manual. Contractor must have vocational training as a dental assistant or be able to demonstrate ability for previous on the job training. The contractor is subject to a call-for-service for the Federal Prison Camp. Organizations are requested to contact the contracting office listed in this notice.
