SYNOPSIS NO. 017 -S- Snow Removal Newport Test Facility, at Newport NY -- Provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to remove snow and/or apply sand/salt to assure safe movement of vehicles and pedestriain and about the facilities, road network, hardstands, walks, parking areas and walking areas as required to eliminate hazardous driving and walking conditions during the winter season. Period of performance is from 15 Nov 95 through 15 Apr 96. It is the intent of the Government to make an award to the Highway Department of the Town of Newport, P.O. Box 519, Newport, NY 13146 on a sole source basis. Justification supporting sole source acquistion is the physical location of the test facility. See Note 22. (0200)
