Maintain Taxiway 1 - This project includes furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and performance of all operations necessary to repair Taxiway 1at McConnell AFB, Kansas. Work includes but is not limited to, patching of spalled Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP), sawing and sealing random cracks in concrete slabs, resealing all existing PCCP and all other miscellaneous work as necessary to complete the project. Magnitude of cnstruction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Anticipated issuance date for IFB Solicitation Number F14614-95-B0033 is 16 Aug 95. Tentative opening date is 15 Sep 95. Performance period will be 150 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code is 1771. This action is being considered for 100% set-asides for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 calendar days of this notice. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns. Project requirements will be made available on or about 26 Jul 95. No telephone requests for bid sets will be honored. All requests for bid sets must be in writing.
