Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials to perform all operations in connection with the following project located at Vandensberg AFB, CA: XUMU 95-1027B - Repair Electrical/Lighting Systems, Bldg 7525. Work includes: A. Electrical: Replace existing distribution and branch circuit panelboards in the high bay area. Replace 2-75 kVA transformers with 2 new 112.5 kVA transformers in high bay area. Replace high bay fluorescent lighting fixtures with new energy saving HID lighting fixtures. Install 3 phase receptacles where required; B. Mechanical: For the two existing high bay sliding doors, east and west, provide and install new drive motors (on ground) replacing existing motors (located in pits). Provide and install new stainless steel chain (both doors). Provide and install new chain guideway. Repair 12 wheels. The range of construction cost for this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The contract performance period for this project is 180 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1731. Interested firms should respond as soon as possible.
