The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to performing all operations in connection with the installation of: Two (2) new centrifugal hermetic chillers complete with all associated electrical work, piping, and controls; new ventilation system; extension of the fire sprinkler system into the new chiller room; mechanical room refrigerant detection system. Work includes but is not limited to the performance of all incidental work not indicated on the drawings nor required for a complete system at the Ft. Lauderdale, FL postal facility. Scheduling, phasing and coordination of work will be required. Work rooms are available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Coordinate of HVAC system total shutdown procedures so that total shutdown time does not exceed 15 hours for all pipe welding and electrical work.
