Z -- REMOVE AMMONIA PLANT AND REPAIR ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN BUILDINGS 199 AND 200 Sol N62477-95-B-2557. Due 090695. POC Robert E. The work includes removal of an existing ammonia plant including two compressors 100 HP and 40 HP, piping, equipment, concrete pads up to 30'' high, electrical service, and large phenolic control board. Combine two existing 208/120V services into one 480/277V service. Provide new pad mounted transformer, switchboard, distribution, dry type transformers, panelboards, etd. to re-feed existing services. Remove existing asbestos containing wallboard in switchboard room. Replace existing selected lighting and receptacles. Dispose of PCB containing ballasts and recycle existing T-12 lamps in accordance with EPA regulations. Provide new light fixtures with electronic ballasts and T-8 lamps, metal halide low-bay fixtures, and explosion proof fixtures. Replace a 100 HP 2300V motor with a 480V motor and controller. The anticipated date for availability of plans and specifications is August 1995. The time for completion is 180 days and estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.
