(304) 285-4160 The Morgantown Energy Technology Center plans to purchase a caustic soda dilution system for a scrubber unit for a hot gas desulphurization project. The system will continuously dilute a 50% casutic soda in-line to a caustic soda solution in the range of 15 to 30%, + 0.5% (normally 20%). A flow rate of 20 to 80 gpm is needed for the product solution. The system will likely include control valves, an in-line mixer, instrumentation to insure product mix, and a NEMA 4 control panel.
