and container intermodal transportation service for carriage of
Department of Defense cargo between the U.S. East Coast and Guantanamo
Bay, Cuba for a twelve month period commencing 1 November 1995 and
twelve month option commencing 1 November 1996. The Carrier must offer
a viable self-sustaining operation that can provide and maintain a
regularly scheduled liner term service. Requests for solicitations and
information regarding the date, time, and location for the preposal
conference for this solicitation must be submitted in writing via mail
or fax, 202-685-5942 not later than 8 August 1995. Potential offerors
failing to provide MSC with a request for solicitation in writing or
previously acknowledged potential offerors that have not submitted
proposals for award for this service during the previous three cycles
shall not be retained on the master mailing list. This procurement is
a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and only those offerors meeting the
criteria set forth in FAR Part 19 will be eligible for the award. The
