Description of Work: BASE BID: Repair Storm Drainage System - Area 5: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform all work necessary to replace section of concrete lined ditch; replace all joint sealer in concrete ditch; remove riprap and vegetation; and install new liner and riprap. OPTION NO. 1 - Repair Storm Sewer, Casablanca Housing Area: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform all work necessary to repair approximately 1,800 feet of 60-inch corrugated metal pipe. Voids under areas where the invert has rusted out will be filled with grout. After grouting, 1/2 inch steel studs will be spot welded along the invert for attachment of wire fabric, and the invert lined with 4 inches of concrete. The project will include some repair to masonry area drains, demolition of the existing and construction of a new concrete headwall, and backfill, seeding, and mulching around area drains and over pipe. OPTION NO. 2 - Repair Channel, Honeycutt to Bragg Blvd: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform all work necessary to demolish and replace sections of concrete storm drainage channels with new concrete channels and gabions. Project also includes removal of vegetation on the banks of the channel, cleaning and sealing of cracks in parts of the concrete channel, and construction of concrete revetment mat. Network Analysis System will not be required. Estimated cost range of project is from $250,000 to $500,000. Cost of solicitation documents is $25. Make check payable to F&A Officer.
