The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a ''specific make or model requirement'' for the Automatic Tool and Connector (ATC) STA-01-C-T-AQC ''ST'' fiber optic connector. This is a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract with two option years. The minimum quantity is estimated at 9,200 connectors. A detailed specification is available by requesting in writing for RFP 6835. No telephone requests will be honored. The FBI intends to negotiate with firms offering the specified make and model in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible souce and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
