AMC Contracting Flight is proposing to acquire Hand Held Terminal (HHT) (Batch and RF) site surveys at eight (8) different worldwide Air Force Bases. The surveys are to include the following: The contractor travels to the location, determines what type of hand held terminals can be used (Batch or RF), determines where transceivers and transporters need to be located, where cables need to be laid, and determines where electrical outlets need to be installed. The contractor will then submit the information to AMC CPSS/SMSMT, SCOTT AFB s to be installed are Symbol Technologies HHTs. The bases, locations, number of buildings and total square footage is listed below: 1. Sigonella AFB Italy, 2 buildings, 250,000 square feet. 2. Incrlik AFB Turkey, 2 buildings, 140,000 square feet 3. Mildenhall AFB UK, 2 buildings, 209,118 square feet, 4. Rota AFB Spain, 2 buildings, 300,000 square feet, 5. Rhine Mein AFB Germany, 3 buildings, 1,153,000 square feet, 6. Yokota AFB Japan, 2 buildings, 240,000 square feet 7. Kadena AFB Japan, 5 buildings, 482,200 square feet, 8. Ramstein AFB Germany, 3 buildings, 4,407,400 square feet. The site surveys are to begin 21 days after contract award. Quotes are to include proposals for site survey, travel, and per diem.
