This requirement is to provide for the operation and maintenance of the Base Telecommunication Systems (BTS) at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS), Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico. NCTS is the Activity Providing Telephone Service for telecommunication services at the U.S. Naval Station (NAVSTA) Roosevelt Roads and the Naval Security Group Activity (NSGA), Sebana Seca. The following is a list of equipment that will require operation and maintenance services: Northern Telecom Meridian SL-100 (PBX) w/associated auxiliary equipment; Northern Telecom SL-1 Remote Switching Unit (RSU); Cyber Digital CSX 2000; and Northern Telcom SL-1 BCS-11. Also required is to provide installation and maintenance of various customer premise equipment, repair/replacement of the existing cable plant (inside and outside), engineering services, system administration, inventory control, drawings updates, and records management for the BTS. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, tools, equipment, and transportation, as required to provide 24 hour a day, 7 days a week support services for operations, maintenance, and repair. A pre-award and post-award site survey will be conducted. The contractor will be required to obtain a SECRET security clearance prior to award of the contract. The term of the contract will be a base year and four, one year options with an additional option to extend services for up to six months past the life of the contract per FAR 52.217-8. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price contract. (0202)
