The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Service, is seeking a maintenance company to provide on-call maintenance services with a twenty-four hour response time for the equipment listed below; Dell SYS 310 (100 MG hard drive, two floppy disk drives, two serial ports, one parallel port. enhanced 101-Key Keyboard, Color VGA monitor, clock calendar with battery backup, 40 MG tape drive, Omni-tel 2400 Baud Modem; Epson dot matrix parallel printers, and Dell lap top computer. The total number of Dell SYS 310 micros with printers requiring maintenace is 68. The location of the micro equipment is one in each state, one in District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Virgin Islands; five at the Food and Consumer Service office in Alexandria, Virgina; and an additional one in each Medicaid-only state (Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, California, New Jersey, and Maryland). One Dell Laptop is located at HCFA in Baltimore, Maryland. The expected period of performance will be for a base year, October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996 and four twelve month option periods.
