632-7276. The Minnesota National Guard is seeking potential sources to
perform removal and disposal of hazardous wastes generated at various
Army and Air National Guard locations throughout the state. A partial
list of some of the hazardous waste streams generated at these sites
are as follows: Methyl Ethyl Ketone; Paint Booth Filters; Alodine Rags;
Paint Stripper; Waste PD 680; Parts Washer Sludge; Waste Paint
Scrapings; Blaster Grit; Fuel Filters; Paint Booth Filters; Waste Paint
& Thinner; Lithium Batteries; Mercury Batteries; Nickel-Cadmium
Batteries; M17A1 Mask Filters; M258A1 Decon Kits; and M256 Chemical
Agent Detector. This is a partial list. Those interested firms are
asked to submit their respective firm's statement of capabilities and
other general information concerning their performance in this area. If
available, you are also asked to submit a current price list for
removal and disposal of these and similar items. Information is
requested no later than 16 August 1995 and is to be sent to the
Contracting Officer. This is not an RFP or an IFB. No specific
acquisition has been identified at this time. This is a request for
information only. Any subsequent acquisition, if any, would require
ultimate proof of proper insurance, and documentation for complying
with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, codes and
regulations required in the performance of all work. Firms located
within the state of Minnesota are desired. There is no restriction
