Wilkerson, Contracting Officer, 601-680-4009 Furnish all materials and labor necessary to operate and maintain government owned wastewater treatment facility and sewage lift station located on the Natchez Trace Parkway approximately five miles north of Tupelo, MS. The work consists of the operation and maintenance of a 25,000 GPD extended aeration treatment plant and dry well lift station, the furnishing of all parts and materials (within certain dollar limititations) necessary for operation and maintenance, and the furnishing of chlorine. The contractor must hold or obtain a current certification from the Missippi State Bureau of Pollution Control to operate a Class II Wastewater Facility. The purchase order will be for a base period of October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996, with three additional one-year option periods. This acquisition is being conducted pursuant to the new Federal Acquisition Procedures for non - FACNET certified facilities and is reserved for small businesses only. Interested parties must request copies of the request for quotation in writing. The Contracting Officer expects to issue the solicitation within 15 days of this notice, allow 15 days for receipt of quotations, evaluate the quotations based on lowest price (base plus option periods), and award a purchase order no later than September 10, 1995.
