Repair Airfield Apron/Inlets, Whiteman AFB, MO. Project YWHG 95-0141. Project is to provide for the continuing maintenance of the airfield pavement at Whiteman AFB. This project includes the removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete with high density portland cement concrete along with designated joints in apron concrete slabs, the removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete popouts with epoxy concrete patch, the removal and replacement of airfield paint markings within designated work areas, the sawing out of new and existing joints in patched areas, the sealing of all joints and the removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete drop inlets and related concrete apron pavement. This will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. The contract guaranteed amount is $500,000 for the life of the contract. The contract shall be for the basic period plus a possibility of two option years, if the option to extend is exercised. The SIC code for this project is 1611. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 09 Aug 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economiclly disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrtes the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
