Mailboxes shall be rear loading type installed, in a block wall. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about August 10, 1995, with bid opening to be held on or about September 11 1995. The proposed requirement listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested parties should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days after this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically small disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as full and open competition without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all business concerns as well as from SDB concerns. Due to automation of the Bidder's Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore, required that all responses include the vendor's business size. For determining business size, the Standard Industrial Code for this project is 1522, and to be considered a small business under this code you may have had no more than $17.0 million dollars in annual revenues over the past three years.
