This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below) by NTT. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. (1) Name: Popular teleconference system over ISDN (2) Overview: A popular teleconference system consists of set-topbox, television, analog telephone over ISDN. The system must enable inter-communication with TV telephones that meet international standards (such as H.320, H.221, H.230, H.242, H.261, H.711, G.728) and communication using analog telephone. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. Once information is offered, these are regarded as non secret one, and it is possible that these information is opened to the public in procurement or used by others. NTT is not responsible for controlling, opening and using of the information. (i) Technical information (including product catalogues, sample system configurations, etc.) (ii) Prices (iii) Standard time of delivery after ordering (vi) Sales records (v) Others (Active proposals likely to be of use for increase business) (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor: Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information listed below.
