70 -- HARDWARE AND AUTOMATION RELATED PRODUCTS (SHARP) SOL DASW01-95-R-0240 POC Geraldine Marshall, (703)681-0155 The Defense Supply Service-Washington intends to issue Solicitation DASW01-95-R-0240 for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) federal information processing resources to meet current and future worldwide medical data processing requirements. SHARP will serve as a follow-on contract to the Composite Health Care System (CHCS), the DMSSC Automation Support Hardware (DASH), and other health care contracts. Equipment being sought includes servers, workstations, memory, immediate access storage device, terminals, printers, magnetic tape drives, data communications equipment, and barcode processing equipment. Software includes application software, operating system software, 3rd and 4th generation language, and DBMS. Maintenance for current and future acquisitions. This acquisition will result in multiple contracts which will be awarded in three lots: Lots I and II will result in multiple Idefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, firm fixed price for hardware and software related services. Lot III will result in a single requirements-type contract for maintenance of existing and new systems. Solicitation will be released on or about 15 August 1995. This solicitation will be issued on 3-1/2'' diskettes in wordperfect 6.1 format.
