70 -- ISIS TOOLKIT PORT TO PSOS WITH RIGHT TO COPY AND 90 DAY SUPPORT. SOL RFQ5-34352/994 POC Contracting Officer: Bill Bradley, Code 243, 301-286-9474. The NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) RFQ5-34352/994 on a sole source basis to ISIS distribution systems. This acquisition is for an ISIS toolkit PORT to PSOS with right to copy and 90 days support. The Mission Operations and Data Systems Directorate requires a capability to support real time, fault tolerant, multicase capable data distribution over nominal internet proptocol (IP) networks. In particular, this acquisition shall acquire the capability for the Advanced Composition Explorer (ACE) mission simulator and training syste, which runs in a PSOS operating environment on Motorola 68K and 88K processors. This acquisition is being done pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), only one responsible source. Specifically, this capabiluity must be compatible with the system. In order to meet this mission and future mission requirements, this capability must be scalable to: A) hundreds of simultaneous message streams, B) megabits per second per stream, C) hundreds of simultaneous destinations, D) dozens ()100) of simultaneous sources. This capability shall run on UNIX hosts without modifications to the kernel, but shall take advantage of multicast capabilities in the kernel should they exist. This capability shall require no modifications or protocol configurations in the underlying IP network. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of their capability, including detailed technical information and other technical literature, demonstrating their ability to meet the above requirement, within 15 days of the publication of this notice to the above address.
