Carroll (509) 527-7214 (Site Code DACW68) The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District intends to issue a solicitation for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity professional services contract for ''Biological Studies in the Snake and Columbia River Basins''. The Request for Proposals will be for providing the expertise and ability to conduct biological evaluations as required. The specific studies will be requested by individual delivery orders and will include a scope of work for that project. The solicitation will include provisions of expertise in the following areas: experimental design and statistical analysis; hydroacoustic fish evaluations; telemetric tracking of fish; computer model development; Geographic Information System (GIS) data analysis; development and evaluation of fish behavior modification systems; fish physiological evaluations; and water quality sampling and analysis. Offerors will be required to include in their proposal how they would assemble a team of individuals or entities with the level of expertise and capability required by the Corps of Engineers. It is the Government's intent to award a firm fixed price, estimated quantity type contract for a one-year period with the option to extend services for up to four one-year periods. Offeror's proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria which are listed in descending order of importance: ability to deliver technically competent input to biological studies; ability to complete any part or all or biological studies; qualifications and experience of the technical staff; and past performance on similar studies.
