This announcement amends the Defense Nuclear Agency (DNA) announcement (Synopsis No. 95-65) for a Forecast to Industry (Special Topic) on Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) disposition in Russia, announced in the 11 Jul 95 Commerce Business Daily (CBD). Specifically, this amends the date of the forecast from 31 Jul 95 to 8 Aug 95. The forecast is intended to promote dialog between Government representatives and private sector companies with experience in elimination and disposition of SRMs. The U.S. DoD will present information regarding potential future procurements related to the SRM disposition effort in Russia, anticipated task requirements, including the number of SRMs to be disposed of, available technical information, information on the potential disposition site, the current status of negotiations for this effort, and potential next steps leading to future RFPs. The forecast will be held at 9:00 a.m. on 8 Aug 95 at the Center for Verification Research (CVR), 8500 Cinder Bed Road, Newington, VA 22122.
