This is a notice of intent: The Government intends to negotiate a Contract with Micromedex, Incorporated., under the Authority of FAR 6.302, for subscription of the following items: Computerized Clinical Information System with the following modules (subsystems/databases): AfterCare Combo, USP DI Volume I, Drugdex, Emergindex, Artindale, Martindale, MSDS, Poisondex, Reprorisk, and Tomes. Micromedex, Incorporated certifies that it is the sole source for the subscription, and is the only distributor of these services. Further, Micromedex is comprised of copyrighted, proprietarty textual databases which are either authored and copyrighted by Micromedex or which are licensed and exclusively distributed by Mircomedex, and used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The databases are comprehensive writings in the respective subject areas and are republished in their entirety on a quarterly basis. This is only a notice of intent, not a notice for firms to request a solicitation package. See Number Note 22.(0205)
