O'SULLIVAN, (215)697-9685 The FISC Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia intends to contract with Northrup/Grumman Aerospace Corporation on a sole source basis to obtain Integrated Logistics and Training Support, Spare Parts, and Repair Support for Radio Control/Intercom Systems previously procured from Northrup/Grumman Aerospace Corporation for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, Maryland. This action is taken pursuant to the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Placement of a firm fixed price contract is anticipated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties who maintain that they are technically qualified should submit, within 30 days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, factual data and other pertinent information as desired to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully perform the required services. All technical proposals received within the 30 day notice will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based on technical responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 7622. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia. The Solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals.
