SAMPLE IMPLEMENTATION OF DRAFT APPLICATION PROGRAM INTERFACE STANDARDS FOR IMAGE ARCHIVES AND IMAGE DISSEMINATION Contact: Virginia Contracting Activity, Central Imagery Office, P.O. The Department of Defense, Central Imagery Office (CIO), intends to approve standards related to the Application Program Interfaces (API's) to catalog, request deliver and update images stored on an archive. These API's will be specified in Interface Definition Language and will be included in the standards related to the United States Imagery System. As part of the development of the API's, the CIO is coordinating the development of sample implementations of the server and client software specified by the API's. This development will conclude with an interoperability demonstration and test at the end of October. The CIO invites any interested organizations to develop their own sample implementations. Training and integration support will be available as resources permit.
