Construct Addition to the Maintenance Facility, MacDill AFB, FL. Construct a 4000 SF metal frame wall panel addition to existing open bay maintenance facility. Addition will contain tool room, parts and bench stock room, latrine with shower, and two air-conditioned offices. Project also includes demolition of existing vehicle wash rack adjacent to the construction site. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 July 1995. The bid opening date will be on or about 31 August 1995. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. SDB concerns interested in having the project set-aside should, as early as possible but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest by providing previous project references of similar type work, bonding capacity, and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted without further notice.
