Scope of work: The work consists of providing all labor, material, equipment and services necessary for installing a concrete masonry unit enclosure wall on the north edge of the dock for Building B. The enclosure to include motor operated sectional doors with dock seal and shelter at each dock location. Work to include the removal and relocation of edge-of-dock levelers. A concrete landing and steps with a hollow metal egress door, guard and hand rails, are also included. Selective demolition to include vestibule and existing exterior walls. Installation of new Look-Out-Gallery walls and observation ports will be required. New HVAC consisting of hot water unit heaters and wall mounted exhaust fans will be part of the scope of work. Electrical requirements to include new lighting and power for HVAC equipment and door operators. No more than three (3) docks at any one time will be out of operation. There will be no construction work performed during the month of December. No Pre Proposal Conference is scheduled. The estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $625,000.00 with completion required within 330 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
