Eglin AFB base has a requirement to Upgrade Water Supply to Building 55, which consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for installation of filters on the cold water, hot water and process water system. Presolicitation Notice has been issued. Bid opening date of 14 Sep 95 is only an estimated date. The work will involve removing two existing 100 horsepower air compressors and associated piping and removing existing water filters located outside the building. Three separate filter systems are to be installed in the southwest corner of the basement mechanical room. The piping will be modified for the filter installation and to separate equipment supplied by the two water services supplying the building. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
