IAW U.S Army CECOM Specification MIL-B-49430 Amendment 3 Rev C, and
MIL-B-49430/3 REV G FOR Lithium sulfur dioxide battery. The primary
objective of this acquisition is to provure BA-5590/U batteries on a
competitive basis but limiting it to domestic sources only, using a
firm fixed price contract. The maximum quantity to be procured is
190,000 batteries. The US ARMY COMMUNICATIONS COMMAND (CECOM) has
established an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic
transmittal of Request for Proposals (Raps) and Invitations for Bids
(Fibs) from Government to Industry. AS OF 01 JANUARY 1995, HARD COPIES
WILL NO LONGER BE DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station
Acquisitions). All interested parties wishing to do business with
CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the
CECOM EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an
identification code and password will be issued upon request. All
requests must include 1) Company Name, 2) Points of Contact, Name(s)
and Title(s), 3) Return Address(Es), and 4) Telephone Number(s). Please
