The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to negotiate sole source with Legato Systems, Inc, 3145 Porter Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94304 for continued software maintanance services. The maintenance services for the software listed below includes usage rights, enhancements, correction of errors and omissions, automatic updates, and technical support hotline services. The Agency's requirement for maintenance support is for the following software: Networker Service License for 1000 users and Jukebox License. EPA believes that Legato Systems, Inc, is the only vendor capable of satisfying the software maintenance requirements stated above. The period of performance is expected to be from November October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. No solicitation is available. All interested parties must respond within 15 days of the date of this announcement. Interested vendors shall: 1) include information on the proposed services which clearly supports the requirements outlined above and; 2) provide itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible.
