circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif. 95.203 dated
10 July 1995. 1. Member to Agreement notifying: Australia. If

2. Agency responsible: National Food Authority. 3. Notified under
Article 2.9.2. 4. Products covered (HS or CCCN where applicable,
otherwise national tariff heading. ICS numbers may be provided in
addition, where applicable): Residues in food. 5. Title and number of
pages of the notified document: Explanatory Notes-Proposal P133 (2
pages). 6. Description of content: An application to amend the
Australian Food Standards Code to provide for a clearer and more
consistent commodity nomenclature within the Food Standards Code. 7.
Objective and rationale: Consumer health and safety. 8. Relevant
documents: Australian Food Standards Code, Standard A14 - Residues in
Food. 9. Proposed date of adoption and entry into force: Recommendation
to Government by date to be decided (not expected before end of 1994).
Entry into force to be decided. 10. Final date for comments: The
domestic closing date for comments is 2 August 1995, however, comments
from Members will be accepted until 8 September 1995 if notice of
intention to comment is received by the domestic closing date. 11.
