The Navy plans to solicit offers for a reprocurement of its Diving and Diving-Related Services requirements. These services involve underwater maintenance on ship hulls and structures, and require dry and wet welding, salvage assistance, and saturation diving capability. Related engineering, technical, and software services may also be required. Corporate welding procedure qualifications and personnel welding performance qualifications must be in accordance with Navy Ships Technical Manual (NSTM) Chapter 074 paragraphs 6.59, 6.69, 6.68, and 6.80. An otherwise apparently successful offeror not possessing these qualifications may be afforded a 90-day period in which to obtain them under the resulting contract. The contract will be of the Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery type, with one base-year period and four out-year options.
