The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment to remove and replace windows in Building 467 as indicated in the solicitation documents, including demolition and removal of windows and related construction, installation of windows, glazing, sealants, and incidental related work. The scope of work also includes the testing, stripping, patching and repair of the exterior surfaces, as well as repainting the exterior with an elastomeric waterproofing coating. Painting and patching of miscellaneous interior surfaces are also included within the scope of work. The proposed procurement will result in the award of a firm-fixed price lump sum contract. During the performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 9 August 1995 at no charge until supplies are exhausted. The estimated Bid Opening Date is approximately 8 September 1995. Performance time is 280 calendar days. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542. The related Small Business Size Standard is $17 million.
