Estimated Cost Range: $1,000,000-$5,000,000. time for completion: 425 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. No document charge or deposit is required. Project involves: General interior space alterations including selective demolition, cast in place concrete, unit masonry, structural steel, roofing, woodwork, joint sealers, doors, frames, hardware, glass, lath and plaster, drywall, stone, acoustical ceilings, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, vault doors, courtroom furniture, security construction, plumbing; HVAC, electrical, lighting, fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Option No. 1: Provide and install new building fire sprinkler system. Option No. 2: Provide and install new building fire alarm system. Option No. 3: Eight (8) Unit prices for lighting retrofit. Option No. 4: Unit price for fan coil units (multiplier: 138). Option No. 5: Unit price (labor only) to install pneumatic controls and provide/install control wiring from the fan coil units to the related VAV boxes (multiplier 180). All other materials required for installation of the controls will be provided by the Government. Option No. 6: Reroute all existing electrical conduit from stairwell to corridor locations. PCBs may be present in the light ballasts. The bidder or subcontractor performing the PCB removal work shall meet the competency qualification requirements as specified in Section 00120 of the specifications. Any contractor or subcontractor performing asbestos or other hazardous material work shall provide bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on the comprehensive form of policy of at least $500,000 per occurence. Such coverage must encompass liabilities arising from work with hazardous materials involved. The Government will not indemnify against such risks.
