Renovate Hospital 1st Floor at Whiteman AFB. Project Number YWHG-94-0041. This project includes but is not limited to interior renovation and finish up-grade of 1st floor of Hospital. This includes new wall finishes, ceiling, light fixtures, and flooring. Demolition of existing walls and installation of new walls, doors, electrical and communication conduits. Project also includes relocation of existing Open Office furnishings (Herman Miller) as well as removal and re-installation of same items. Renovation also includes relocation of fire windows, installation of automatic doors, and re-construction of entry on north side of facility. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. Magnitude of the contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period will be 425 calendar days. The SIC code for this project is 1542. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify our office, in writing, of their intention to bid on the project as a prime contractor as early as possible, but not later than 14 Aug 1995. This notification must include a positive statement of eligiblity as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern, evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds, and specific information which demonstrates the capability to perform project of this complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns as well as from Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns.
