Work includes providing sacrificial anodes on approximately 4000 linear feet of existing ferrous natural gas lines and 2000 linear feet of existing ferrous water lines. Work also includes providing cathodic protection test stations at selected locations as well as replacing approximately 75 isolation flanges and unions. Work shall also include close interval survey testing of the new cathodic protection system and isolation flange and union testing. The estimated construction cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The estimated construction time is 125 calendar days. SIC Code lis 1623. Proposed acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for small disadvantaged business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but not later than 15 days of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting officer above, evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice and SDB evaluation preference will not be applied. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. Requests for this solicitation must be made in writing, providing the business size and a point of contact.
