Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, service and supervision to construct and repair asphaltic pavement at various locations at Scott AFB, IL 62225-5015. The principle items of work shall include, but are not limited to, the following: Roadway and airfield pavements, minor grading, removal of existing concrete and asphalt pavement, prepare subgrade and base course, install new asphaltic pavement, rotomilling, joint and crack repair/sealing, asphalt overlaying, stripping with paint/thermoplastic, applying slurry seal treatment, installing traffic sensor loops, including the connection to existing signal switch boxes and readjustment of controls. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for basic year. The proposed contract herein is unrestricted. The Government intends to award an IDIQ type contract with two option years. Only written requests will be accepted; telephone requests will not be honored.
