Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to complete a construction project to install a Fire Detection System in Bldg. 1155. All work is to be performed at McChord AFB, WA. Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) Update and expand the existing manual duct smoke detector only fire detection system; 2) New manual pull stations; 3) Add additional zone modules and transmitters. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation is expected to issue on or about 15 August 95, with a bid opening date projected to be 14 September 95. The proposed contract is being considered as a 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns; interested SDB concerns should, as early as possible, but no later than ten (10) days after the date of this notice, indicate interest in the acquisition by providing to the contracting office evidence of capability to perform and a positive statement of eligibility as an SDB concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued unrestricted without further notice. All requests for bid sets must be in writing.
