Z -- PRE-SOLICITATION - SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF (23) EMERGENCY GENERATORS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS AT THE U.S. NAVAL COMPLEX, ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND SOL N62477-95-B-0688. DUE 090795. The project includes, providing all supervision, labor, materials, transportation and equipment to provide preventative maintenance, emergency service and maintenance and repairs to (23) emergency generators at various locations at the U.S. Naval Complex, Annapolis, Maryland. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of all exterior lead paint by the chemical stripping and wet scraping methods; storage of lead containing paint in authorized containers, to be removed by the Contractor and disposed of in accordance with Federal, State and Local Laws; monitoring analysis during lead paint removal work by an accredited laboratory analysis; removing and replacing damaged and/or rotten wood; feathering, priming and complete painting of all exterior wood surfaces; caulking of all door and window areas. The work also includes washing all exterior windows and incidental related work. The estimated date for availability of this project is 07 August 1995. This project shall provide for the initial year and four (4) optional years. The estimated cost range for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
