Lockheed Martin Energy Systems, Inc., a facility managing and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy, proposes to sell a copyright license agreement to one or possibly more companies for radioactive material inventory software which was developed at Energy Systems. The technology available for licensing is PC-based software for tracking radioactive material. The system employs the latest GUI (graphical user interface) properties available in the MS Windows environment using MS FoxPro for Windows. The software features ``point and click'' useability, bar-coding, extensive table look-up capabilities, a viewer for displaying graphic files of radioactive sources, and all features commonly associated with the accountability of nuclear material. The system is PC-network ready; measures have been taken to assure the integrity of records in a multi-user environment. Commercial firms interested in procuring a license for this technology may obtain more detailed technical information about this invention by responding to this announcement. To be considered as a potential licensee, interested companies must respond by August 18, 1995. No licensing intermediaries will be considered.
