The FAA Technical Center intends to issue a Purchase Order to RTS by Telex 2550 Hollywood Way Burbank, CA 91505 for a voice communication system. The communication system will be portable and used to support Air Traffic Control simulations conducted off site by the National Simulation Capability Program. It will also be used in the FAA technical Center's new Bldg. 27 to support ATC human factors research. The system must be linked with the system in Bldg. 28 which was produced by RTC Systems. Full compatibility between the new and old communications systems is arequirement to insure maximum utility. The routing and switching logic of this communication system are proprietary to RTS.
