092095 POC Richard Banks, 303/969-6514. The BLM Albuquerque District
Office, New Mexico has a requirement for the furnishing of labor,
equipment, supplies and materials, to aerially apply Pelleted Herbicide
(Fixed-wing) at 0.5 lb a.i. per acre for an estimated 3940 acres in
Sandoval County, State of New Mexico. Aircraft used shall be fixed wing
only, capable of applying pellets at 140 mph maximum. Aircraft shall be
equipped to carry pellets with a distribution mechanism complete with
release, shutoff, and spreading device which can be calibrated for
application of pellets at the prescribed rate and uniform pattern.
Contractor shall furnish properly equipped aircraft with pilots
experienced in applying pelleted herbicide in rough terrain in hot
temperatures. GPS Guidance/Tracking system if used must be capable of
insuring the swath width of 42 feet within 10%. 30 calendar day
