The subject project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish existing walls, foundation and interior finishes and construct a 1,500 square foot addition, for food preparation, service and consumption, with all supporting electrical, mechanical, architectural finishes, landscaping and structural work, demolish existing exterior finish with split-face concrete block and replace with an exterior insulation finish system. This description serves as general information only and is not intended to include or describe every feature of work. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The SIC Code for the project is 1542. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office of their intent to bid on this project as a prime contractor as soon as possible, but not later than 15 days from the date of this notice. The notification must include (a) a positive statement of eligibility as a SDB concern; (b) evidence of capacity to obtain the required bonds; and (c) past performance data on projects that demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this complexity and magnitude. If adequate interest is not received from at least two SDB concerns, the solicitation will be issued, without further notice, on an unrestricted basis.
