The Forest Service requires 16,983 feet of construction and 2,377 feet of reconstruction for a trail on the Sula Ranger District, Bitterroot National Forest, Ravalli County, Montana. Work includes clearing of trees and brush, grubbing, stump removal, excavation of earth and rocks, construction of dips and belt waterbars and obliteration of 900 feet of existing trail. The work is estimated to start on October 1, 1995. Bids are due September 12, 1995. Contract time will be 60 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The proposed contract is a labor surplus area set-aside.
