Agnes M. Lewis Provide all labor, material, transportation, and
supervision necessary to remove, replace wheels, reset existing
gangways, paint existing steel piles, and demolish existing floating
docks. Provide (6) 8' X 40' Wood/Plastic Floating Docks with cleats and
rubber fender, and pole rings for attachment to existing steel piles.
The estimated range is $25K to 100K. Anticipated bid opening is on or
about 30 Aug 95. Performance period is 90 DANTP. No Telephone Requests.

accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration

contract is 1751 and the average size standard is $7.0 million. The
Following Information Is For Minority, Woman-Owned And Disadvantaged
Enterprises: The Dept. of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and
Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist
minority, woman-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire
short-term working capital and bonding assistance for
transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible
prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program
enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to
$1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond
amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the
DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to
provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is
