The government is planning to purchase controller and serial interface cards with mating adapters on a sole source contract with Force Computers, Inc. of Irvine, CA. The cards and adapters are for use with the Kineto Tracking Mount A (KTM A) sytem at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), China Lake ranges. The KTM Asystem identifies the spatial coordinates of the target from the ground, and tracks and photographs the target. Extensive proprietary software has been developed specifically for us with these cards for the China Lake ranges'instrumentations. The cards and adapters have the following specifications: (1) Controller board with 25 MHz 68030 processor, 68882 floating point co-processor,(4) MByte dual port RAM, 32 KByte SRAM (with battery back-up on board), 5 MByte EPROM capacity SCSI interface (with DMA interconnect), VMEbus interface, four serial I/O ports, Floppy Disk interface, on board PDOS operating system.
