59 -- RIGID TRANSMISSION LINE SECTIONS SOL Q-5-40-0013 POC POC Gary Hosford, Contracting Officer, FAX (202) 619-3267 The USIA International Broadcasting Bureau, Voice of America (VOA), has a requirement for a Contractor to fabricate, export pack, ship, and deliver to itsradio relay station in Kavala, Greece eleven (11) rigid HF transmission line sections. These coaxial sections shall be 9-3/16'' (.233m) in diameter, 39'' (.99m) in length, 75 ohm with connectors and teflon insulators. The period of performance for the above work shall be sixty (60) days after contract award. USIA intends to issue a Request For Quotation (RFQ) solicitation for this firm-fixed-price procurement in August 1995 with a contract award date in September 1995. Qualified manufacturers of rigid, coaxial transmission line sections may request a copy of the RFQ solicitation by submitting a written request to the USIA Contracting Officer at the above-listed address. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice is not a RFQ. See Note 1. (0208)
