Contractor is to provide all labor, tools, transportation, materials necessary to purchase five (5) HVA driver cards, Xinetics part number EA97AN250-2 (or equal) and one (1) 97-channel deformable mirror, Xinetics part number DM97PMNS4 (or equal). The HVA cards must be compatible with the 97-channel deformable mirror. The card size must be 6U and have 8 channels. The capacity load must be 350-385 nF with an input signal of 10 VPP max. The maximum output voltage must be 150 VPP min. The output voltage @500Hz will be 145 VPP min and @1000Hz must be 102 VPP min. The phase delay @500 Hz must be 58 microseconds max. and the output impedance will be 10,000 ohmes. The output current must be 165 ma min. and the output ripple will be 200 mv max. The output fuse will be 0.25 Amp and the controls will be offset adjust and gain adjust. Test points will be on board and the power required will be 115 VAC, 60Hz and 20 Amps. The deformable mirror system is required to have a continuous face sheet. The surface figure (uncontrolled): (0.2 micron peak-to-peak, surface (controlled): (0.02 micron rms are required. There must be 60-100 actuators. The actuator hysteresis must be 1% or less (implies PMN actuators), 1% or better setpoint precision of the actuators, permitting open loop control of the mirror surface. The actuator strokeeast 4 microns for 100 volts applied is required. The system bandwidth must be greater than 300 Hz. The system must be a turn-key system, including actuator drive electronics with a high speed ()5 MHz) digital interface. The system must also have replaceable actuators.
