Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Booth Development of Short Beach, Ct. for the following parts for the Booth Model 631 Vibration Shaker; (1) Magnet Air Bearing system Model 631.2AB; (2) Air Gap Assemblies Model 331.2AG; (3) Support System Model 631.2PB; and (4) Flexure Carriage System Model 631.2FC2. NIST also intends to negotiate for (1) a Dual Amplifier System Model 431.2D1 and (2) a System Integration as option items. These parts shall be identical to the parts currently owned by NIST for its vibration shaker model 631. Booth Development, being the developer of the instrument, is the only supplier for these specialized parts--Delivery shall be 18 months after award of the contract.
