The 38 Logistics Squadron intends to procure through a sole source lease with AT&T Information Systems a System 85 Digital Switching System and Software (R2V4) that provides 3500 switched dial lines, 300 automatic ring down lines, and access to Digital Analog Direct In-dial (DID), Direct Out-dial (DOD), Two-way trunk groups, and attendant consoles. System includes Peripheral Call Management equipment consisting of Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR), Call Accounting System hardware and software, Line/Port/DSI Recording (SMDR), Call Accounting System Hardware and software, Line/Port/DSI Carrier interface, Touch-tone Receivers and Senders, Autovon (DSN) interface equipment, Attendant consoles, and an auxiliary power back-up system. Lease will cover operations and maintenance of all equipment and services. This acquisition is being conducted under as specific acquisition delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources. The GSA DPA case number is KAA-95-AD001. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 USC 2304 (c) (1). The Government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) for Davis Monthan AFB AZ. The CSA will be written against the Defense Commercial Communications Office (DECCO) Basic Agreement DCA 200-93-H-0018 and the contract lease period will be approximately from 01 Nov 95 through 30 Apr 97.
